One of our main goals is to provide a high
quality ministry training program without creating an undue
financial burden for the student. To this end, Vision Bible College
shares a ten acre parcel of land with the headquarters of Lifeline
Ministries. Our facilities are simple but effective. We currently
have several housing options available and are pacing our expansion
at a reasonable rate in an effort to keep costs to a minimum. The
classrooms, recreation area, prayer room, and computer study center
are housed in the main building on the Lifeline/VBC campus. We also
have an 11,000 sq. ft. building in downtown Marsing (about 1.5 miles
from the Lifeline campus) where classes and activities are held.
Housing is provided through the use of RV’s in the RV Park. We have
several nice travel trailers and students sometimes bring their own
which saves them money. We also house some single students with
families from Vision Community Church and from the Oregon Trail Church
of God. The cost depends on the situation and students are
encouraged to contact us as soon as they know they will be attending
to insure they receive the best possible housing options.
The sense of community here is powerful. Recognizing that many
students may wish to pursue degree programs that we do not offer
here at VBC, we are working with area colleges to help those
students achieve their goals while still taking part in the VBC
community. We are within reasonable distance from Boise State
University and ITT Technical Institute. Students can live here on
campus while attending these other schools and may choose to take
some Bible courses from here. This allows them all of the advantages
of the Christian environment while pursuing their schooling.
One of the greatest advantages offered to VBC
students is the environment itself. With all of the Lifeline
Ministry connections students have many opportunities to travel with
the ministry teams. In the last two years we have made ministry
trips to San Diego, Las Vegas, Canada, Montana, Alaska, and
Washington. Locally, Vision Community Church and Lifeline Ministries
offer many varied opportunities for the Lord to use and train
students in an exciting, practical, environment. We care very much
for one another. Simply put, this is a very fun and encouraging
place in which to grow in the Lord.

Local Information
& Interests: |
Vision Bible College is located in Marsing,
Idaho, U.S.A., "the gateway to the Owyhee mountains". Marsing is a
small town nestled amongst the farms and orchards of the Snake River
Valley. Although the college is located in a rural farming area, it
is just a short drive to Nampa & Caldwell (15 minutes) or Meridian &
Boise (35 minutes) where students will find all the amenities and
activities one would expect for Idaho’s most populous valley
(approx. 300,000 people).
We currently enjoy a very strong economy and
employment opportunities abound. The Registrar’s office will
maintain a list of part time job opportunities and will assist you
in finding proper employment while you pursue your education.
We have included some pictures of the Marsing
area (below).
It would be impossible to list all the
recreational activities available to VBC students but we can assure
you that from skiing at Bogus Basin to fishing in the numerous
lakes, rivers, and streams you will find it all in South Idaho.
